物种多样性、遗传多样性、生态多样性，既使地球充满蓬勃生机，也是我们人类赖以生存和发展的物质基础。生存的对立面就是毁灭。由于人类活动的盲目扩张，物种灭绝的速度加快了一千倍，平均每一个小时，就有一个物种灭绝，令人触目惊心。
物种灭绝已构成21世纪地球面临的重大生态灾难，成为环境保护的紧急课题。地球是我们人类生存的家园，需要我们共同去爱护它，保护它。为此，联合国推出了生态系统恢复十年计划，强调生物多样性对可持续发展的重要意义。为了地球生命的和谐共生，让我们大家行动起来，构建地球生命共同体，我们一起加油。“多彩世界”国际青少年绘画邀请展期待你的参与。生物多样性保护，我们在行动！
Hi, young friends! I’m Zhang Xiaobei, from the Guang Hua Cultures Et Media based in France.
The diversity of species, genetics, and ecology makes the planet full of vitality and is the physical basis for human survival and development. On the opposite side of survival is destruction. Due to the unreasonable expansion of human activities, the rate of species extinction has accelerated a thousand times. On average, one species becomes extinct every hour, which is quite alarming.
Species extinction has become a major ecological disaster for the earth in the 21st century and it’s an urgent issue in the area of environmental protection. The earth is the home of our human existence, and we need to care for it and protect it together. In view of that, the UN has launched a program known as “United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration”, emphasizing the importance of biodiversity to sustainable development. For the harmonious coexistence of life on earth, let us all join hands and take actions to build a community of life on earth. We are looking forward to your participation in the “Colorful World” International Youth Painting Invitational Exhibition. To protect biodiversity, we are taking actions!
